Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the vibrant city. Highlights include the Cultural Heritage Centre, local Maasai markets, and bustling produce markets. For nature lovers, canoeing on the serene Lake Duluti is a wonderful optional activity.
Your safari begins today! After breakfast, your guide will pick you up around 8:00 AM for a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, arriving at the park gates around 10:00 AM.
Once checked in, enjoy your first game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its massive elephant populations, tree-climbing lions, and ancient baobab trees, some estimated to be over 8,000 years old. You will also spot wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos.
Lunch will be served at the Tarangire River picnic site, offering sweeping views of the plains. The game drive continues until late afternoon, after which you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, a journey of approximately 5 to 6 hours passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
A brief stop will be made at the Ngorongoro viewpoint for panoramic crater views, photo opportunities, and a short explanation of the crater's geological history. You will continue onward, reaching Serengeti's Naabi Hill Gate, where lunch will be served.
After check-in, enjoy an afternoon game drive, witnessing the golden Serengeti sunset. The park is home to vast open plains and an abundance of wildlife, including all members of the Big Five. After sunset, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive exploring different regions of the Serengeti. This extensive day allows plenty of time to seek out the Big Five, including elusive leopards, and to observe a wide variety of species in their natural habitat.
If visiting during the migration season, you may witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, one of natures most extraordinary events. Lunch will be enjoyed at a picturesque picnic site. The game drive continues into the late afternoon before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Rise before sunrise for an early-morning game drive one of the best times to see predators and other wildlife at their most active. You will take along a packed breakfast and enjoy it in the bush at a scenic picnic spot.
Afterward, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will reach the Naabi Hill Gate for lunch, then continue into Ngorongoro. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight rest.
Start the day early with breakfast at 6:00 AM, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries. The descent into the crater feels like entering another world rich, lush, and teeming with life.
Inside, you’ll encounter a stunning diversity of wildlife, including over 600 hyenas, majestic elephants with large tusks, critically endangered black rhinos, and more than 50 resident lions. The breathtaking scenery of the crater is as unforgettable as the wildlife itself.
Lunch will be served at the hippo pool picnic site, followed by more game viewing before ascending the crater and returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park and begin your game drive upon arrival. The park is famous for its thousands of shimmering pink flamingoes during the wet season, as well as its rich birdlife over 400 species have been recorded here.
Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions and large elephant populations. Lunch will be enjoyed with a beautiful lakeside view, followed by continued exploration of the park. Later in the day, exit the park and return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
Today marks the end of your unforgettable safari adventure. If your flight departs later in the day, you may enjoy optional excursions such as visiting nearby waterfalls or relaxing in natural hot springs. Otherwise, enjoy the hotel amenities before we transfer you to the airport for your departure.
